PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) operates a coal mine in Sangatta East Kalimantan and is one of the largest export coal mines in the world.

Opportunity exists for a seasoned, high caliber, professional to join the Company with job Assignment in Sengata-East Kalimantan for the positions of:

A. Senior Draftsman – Mechanical ((Code: SD-M)
(Kalimantan Timur – Sangata)
Responsibilities:
Key elements of the position include:

• Interpret technical drawings.
• Determine requirements and purpose of drawing from requestor and/or work specification and associated documents.
• Identify and collect all data necessary to produce the drawing.
• Produce mechanical and structural drawings consistent in accordance with drafting principles and applicable standard operating procedures.
• Select components and/or materials from supplier/manufacturers’ catalogues using design specifications.
• Mark off/out
• Perform basic engineering measurements.

Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience :

• Diploma with minimum 3 years working experience or Technical High School with minimum 5 years working experience as mechanical draftsman.
• Conversant with AutoCad and other computerized drawing production softwares.
• Good knowledge of engineering measurement methods.
• Good knowledge of drafting principles and standard procedure.
• Literacy to operate computer software packages MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-Power Point.
• Sufficient oral and written communication skills both in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• High personal energy level, enthusiastic and able to work under pressure.

B. Superintendent – OLC & Port Stockyard (Code: S-OLC)
(Kalimantan Timur – Sangata)
Responsibilities:
Key elements of the position include:

• Apply project management techniques to lead and administer the project management functions.
• Coordinate the implementation of scientific principles and techniques in multi discipline engineering situations to deliver the outcomes.
• Implement agreed scope management procedures and processes.
• Implement effective procedures, information system, and communication lines as required for the project delivery.
• Implement proper system to monitor and control the project delivery against the agreed scope, time, quality, cost and safety parameters.
• Produce project cost estimates and regularly monitor project costs against budget.
• Carry-out tender technical evaluation.
• Measure and perceive project progress and act on potential or actual risks.
• Produce and administer project documentation.

Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience :

• Mechanical engineering background and minimum 8 (eight) years working experience in bulk material handling field with determining roles in capital projects in the last 5 (five) years or equivalent.
• Suitable balance between technical and managerial skills.
• Conversant with project management tools and techniques.
• Proven experience and knowledge in bulk material handling equipment design and installation standards.
• Proven ability to produce and systematically maintain technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills both in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Good Leadership & People Management skills.
• Have good analytical and problem solving skills
• High personal energy level, enthusiastic and able to work under pressure in project environment.

C. Trainer (Code: TR)
(Kalimantan Timur)
Responsibilities:

• Develop lesson plans from a list of learning outcomes in order to provide a consistent approach to the delivery of a competency development programmed.
• Prepare on and/off the job training programmed equipment/materials such as relevant vehicles, overhead transparencies, handouts. In order to optimize the effectiveness and consistency of the competency development program.
• Delivery off and/or on the job safety training for KPC employees in order to raise skills level.
• Monitor trainee progress in learning during training sessions and provide appropriate feedback to ensure training objectives are being met.
• Ensure course content is fully covered through managing time during course delivery by starting and finishing at scheduled times, controlling break durations and ensuring allocated theory/practical time is adhered to.
• Assess course participants to ensure that learning outcomes have been met. This includes ensuring that assessment are fully supervised, assessment test content and result remain confidential and ensuring that the practical testing process is controlled by maintaining high testing standards.
• Liaise with customers/contractors as required to provide information on Non PIT Kimper assessment, and training administration, receive feedback on all matters related to vehicle training/kimper assessment activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum Senior High School with 5 years related experience.
• Has experiences to operate/drive Light Vehicle, Bus, Trucks, and Lowboy
• Knowledge of KPC’s HSE policies, Regulation, Safety Work Procedures.
• Presentation skills.
• Interpersonal and communication skills in both bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Competent training skills gained through formal Training and/or on the job coaching/experience.
