The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Secretariat is the nerve centre of ASEAN, a regional inter-governmental organisation founded in 1967, to promote peace and stability, sustained economic growth, shared prosperity and social progress. Technical Assistant Labour & Migrant Workers

Requirements


  • Bachelor degree social sciences, development studies, international relations, economics or an appropriate related field or discipline with a minimum one (1) year relevant work experience in technical role.
  • Technical skills and knowledge in the relevant area or the demonstrated ability to quickly acquire them.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organise tasks and work flows, with proven ability for accuracy under pressure and adherence to deadlines.
  • Sound oral and written communication skills, including experience in cross-cultural environment and international settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain sound working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to collaborative work practices.
  • Competency in computer skills with adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook where relevant to the position.
  • Sound command of English, written and spoken.
  • Salary starting from IDR 3,500,000

Technical Assistant Macroeconomic & Finance Surveillance Office

Requirements

  • We are seeking qualified candidates with the following qualifications:
  • At least Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Finance with strong academic records;
  • Familiar with economic research and policy analysis, or the application of economic tools in analysis. Those with experience in managing economic database and conducting economic research will be given preference;
  • Good English language skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel and Power Point) and use of statistical/economic program and software;
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team in a multicultural environment;
  • Able to perform coordination tasks, undertake multiple assignments, and work irregular and long hours; and
  • Able to travel, as and when required.
  • Monthly salary starting from IDR 3,500,000.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in political science, international relations, business, public policy, social science or other related fields from a reputable university;
  • Minimum two (2) years of work experience in a related field;
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organise tasks and work flows
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines;
  • Good oral and written communication skill;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain sound working relationships with stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated commitment to work as part of a team;
  • Sound command of English, written and spoken.
  • Monthly salary starting from IDR 3,500,000.

Requirements

Requirements

  • We are seeking qualified candidates with the following qualifications:
  • At least Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Finance with strong academic records. MA or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience in conducting macroeconomic and policy research in academe or research institution. Those with experience in coordinating programs/projects will be given preference.
  • Good English language skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel and Power Point) and use of statistical/economic program and software;
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team in a multicultural environment;
  • Able to perform coordination tasks, undertake multiple assignments, and work irregular and long hours; and

Technical Officer for AANZFTA Support Unit

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, information technology and/or any other related social science discipline; Master’s degree is an advantage
  • Adequate knowledge in project management (including monitoring);
  • Extensive knowledge and experience on information data base management; experience on trade-related data management is an added advantage;
  • Knowledge on WTO, international trade, regional integration and market access;
  • Adequate exposure to meetings related to regional trade agreements;
  • Must have an excellent analytical, research, and presentation skills;
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Must be computer proficient. Must have a working knowledge of computer software for data manipulation.
  • Monthly salary commensurate with personal qualifications starting from IDR 8,000,000.
